Welcome to Shawna Benson Photography.

I’m a Montana-based portrait photographer specializing in high school senior portraits, with a heart for creating unforgettable, personalized experiences during one of life’s biggest milestones.

I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

After returning to my hometown of Bigfork, Montana in 2007, my work naturally evolved from weddings into what I’m most passionate about today — celebrating High Schoolers and telling their stories in a way that feels personal, intentional, and true to who they are.

You’ll most often find me adventuring with a soon-to-be graduate in Glacier National Park, chasing golden light along Flathead Lake, or helping seniors feel confident, seen, and genuinely excited about their portrait experience.
