Seems so unreal to spend the winter waiting and waiting and waiting for snow to arrive in Northwest Montana but just like last year, the snow has been hit or miss for us here in the Flathead Valley. Now we find ourselves in February and winter has finally decided to make an appearance, yay. So, with a bit of snow arriving last week the Solberg family and I decided it was time to go for it and take the family portraits they had been waiting so patiently for.
It was a beautiful day on Flathead Lake, which is very near and dear to them, so I was thankful for calm conditions...some snow on the ground...and our beautiful mountain views showing in their backgrounds.
The Solberg family is so sweet and spunky and I am so glad I finally got to hang out with them. We did work pretty quickly so no one got too cold but I was able to get a lot of sweet moments with them and a bunch of fun interaction.
Thank you Solberg family for being patient with our crazy non-winter weather...I’m so glad we waited it out and were able to get out by the lake for you!
xoxo Shawna
