An epic fall day in Glacier National Park with 3 of my very favorite girls in the whole world, my very first trip to Polebridge, complete with my very first Polebridge Mercantile Huckelberry Bear Claw.... you could say it was an amazing day. The only thing that tops all that is getting to take senior photos with Stella through it all.
For STELLA'S SUMMER SESSION we hung out in Bigfork and the Jewel Basin area but we waited patiently for the opportunity to go on an adventure to Glacier together once all the fall colors were out...the wait was worth it. Stella and I loaded up with her amazing mom, uber talented photographer and my dear dear friend, Carrie Ann, as well as Stella's adorable little sister, and we all headed into the park.
Just a couple of stops in West Glacier on the way up and then we set off for Polebridge. Since I had never been I was extra excited and loved exploring all the fall colors and sights along the way. Once we arrived at the mercantile, Stella and I went straight away for the bear claws as we waited for the perfect lighting opportunity to soak in the amazing mountain views. She wore a stunning red dress that was insanely beautiful with the view up there...truly some of my favorite images of all time. After that we braved the road into the open fields where I was able to get some of Stella with Mom, little sis, and the three of them together. Then we hurried to catch a near dusk but seriously gorgeous sunset on the shore of Bowman Lake; another first for me. Another beautiful dress and a very adventurous Stella who was willing to brave the cold water for a few...this view, this place and this amazing girl....it was breathtaking.
Stella, I have such an amazing time hanging out with you and this adventure was so very perfect. Your are absolutely beautiful, inside and out and I am excited to see where all your talents and genuine kind spirit take you. Be you my friend, you are truly lovely.
xoxo...Shawna
