Loved getting to hang out with Bigfork High School, class of 2020 senior Madison (Maddie). She is so very funny and once she gets a little comfortable with the situation her quirky, unique personality really starts to shine....we had a ton of laughs.
We started Maddie's session near her home so we could include her sweet pup in some photos. Bellamie wasn't really sure about me so it was good that she was in a place where she felt comfortable. Maddie assured me as long as I didn't make any sudden movements, and tried not to make eye contact, all would be okay...lol... she is a very particular little pup but she sure loves Maddie.
Once Bellamie was safe back home we headed out on our fall adventure. Bigfork was looking very spectacular on the day of her shoot so we stayed close to home and sought out all the very best colors of fall. Maddie is a talented musician and she knew she wanted to include her guitar in her shoot. Then, I came to find out that we could have also had a bass clarinet or a saxaphone as well...super impressive. And, she is getting to walk in the Macy's Day Parade in New York this Thanksgiving! Just had to throw that out there because I thought it was soooo amazing.
We spent time in a few wooded areas, of course a couple of my favorite river locations, and even explored a new spot on a spur of the moment decision. Lastly, we wrapped up sunset overlooking a spot near and dear to her family. I hadn't specifically planned for it before hand but I knew I wanted water and mountain views for her sunset so a stop at their old family farm on the way back to the studio was perfect. The puffy cloud cover and bold colors of fall created some amazing reflections in the near by pond, and the barn and mountains in her background were stunning.
Maddie, I loved getting to know you and I am so excited for your future. You are an exceptional human and truly beautiful inside and out. Thank you for all the giggles and for spending time with me. Have fun in the big city; I am so excited to hear how it goes...see you again soon!
xoxo Shawna
